SULTAN ASKS SAJGAS TO HELP BOOST LOCAL ECONOMY

Supreme Council Member and Ruler of Sharjah His Highness Dr Sheikh Sultan Bin Mohammed Al Qassimi on Tuesday received Sheikh Sultan Bin Ahmed Bin Sultan Al Qassimi, deputy chairman of Sharjah Petroleum Council (SPC) and chairman of the new Al Saja’ah Private Gas Company Ltd (Sajgas). The meeting was attended by Salem Abdullah Rashid Sahooh, assistant director of SPC and director of the new company and company board members. During the meeting, Sheikh Sultan instructed the board members and shareholders to work out such programmes that would boost the activities of the new company and the projects in the pipeline. He also instructed them to improve the company’s efficiency and performance. Sheikh Sultan said the mammoth projects to be implemented by the company should contribute to boosting the performance of the local economy and ensure it played a vital role in developing national resources and providing more job opportunities.
